Visit Torekov, encompassing the adjacent Torekov Guest House and Torekov Art Center, is just a stone’s throw away from the quaint harbour town of Torekov in the Northwest Skåne. Our family-run and art-inspired estate can be found in the countryside, a 5-minute car drive from the town.

The charming seaside town of Båstad, renowned as the home of the annual Sweden Open tennis tournament, is 15 kilometres away.

Torekov’s location on the Swedish west coast makes it within easy reach from all major urban areas, such as Malmö, Helsingborg, Halmstad and Gotheburg. Copenhagen, Denmark, is a mere 2-hour drive away.

Things to do in and around Torekov

  • Visit Hovs Hallar. Be stunned by the dramatic landscape with sea stacks, flat rocks and pebbly beaches within biking distance from Torekov.
  • Cycle – Enjoy the hilly landscape, the salt sea and the beautiful inland roads, lined with forests and farmland. And Sweden’s first national cycling track ‘Kattegattleden’ passes directly by Torekov Guest House.
  • Hike – On the Bjäre Peninsula you will find more than 130km of marked hiking trails. The hilly landscape combined with the ocean will give you expansive views, magic beech woods and the glittering sea.
  • Play a round of golf. A total of six golfclubs are available for you to prefect your swing or to play a round on their 12- or 18-hole courses, all of which afford magnificent scenery.
  • Tennis. Watch, learn to play or play tennis in Båstad, Sweden’s tennis capital, or in Torekov.
  • Go for a morning dip. Morgondop, as we call it, is a belowed morning routine of locals and tourists alike. If you’re not an early bird, go for a refreshing swim at sunset.
